Using this extension kit is not only recommended if a larger plate diameter is needed. The white acrylic glass plate included in the kit with a base diameter of 50 cm at a column of 20 cm allows shooting objects with a translucent plate.

Furthermore, this extension makes an overhead installation possible in order to shoot hanging objects by mounting the enlarged substructure with a hook crossbar instead of the plate.

A white acrylic glass plate with a base diameter of only 30 cm at a column of 20 cm is additionally available besides this extension kit.
