RODEONmodular now speaks PTGui

 

The devices of the RODEONmodular family do know many languages, and by this can accompany with a multitude of programs like Autodesk Stitcher, Autopano Giga, Breeze Remote Pro or also LabView. Now these interfaces become extended by an additional language: PTGui

The evolved workflow is as simple as unique:

  • Capture panorama with help of a RODEON VR Head/Station
  • Merge the used script file with the captured image files by help of the Converter
  • Render the whole panorama with PTGui
  • Finished!

A correction by hand has to be done within the stitcher only exceptional.

Clearly, intuitive, functional and especially fast, this is how the RODEONscript to PTGui Converter has been designed:

This service is, as usual, free of charge for our users. The converter is contained since RODEONmodular 2.6.0, and can be downloaded withing our download area.

 

 

No "Rat's Nest of Wires" due to the new USB Module

 

Even if the devices of the RODEONmodular family can be operated pretty nice wirelessly via bluetooth, there are some fields of application where it is not possible to get around a wired control. Example cases are the direct camera control by Breeze Remote Pro, or locations, where it is not allowed to use radio communication.

For such applications we now got the USB Transceiver Extension module in our portfolio. It is assembled without much complexity directly at the transceiver unit, but keeps easily detachable and offers, besides the direct USB control interface and power supply for the RODEON VR unit, enough connection possibilities for camera and co.
