Installation Instructions for PDA-software
Install ActiveSync or Mobile Device Manager (CD being shipped with PDA) on host computer (if not already available).
Link your PDA with your Host PC by Sync cable (Accessories) as "guest"
Show folder ROM-Storage in the File Explorer, to copy one of the two cabinet files (German / English) there. Testing: attribute "write-protect" must be set.
(In the case of updates of an existing installation the previous version can be deleted)
Disconnect the PDA and continue installation as usual on PDA.

(Testing: after the installation this cabinet file must still be available in order to be able to install also after battery discharge once again.)

Patch for older Models
In junction with older models of the RODEON VR Head Series it might be possible to experience some communication instability issues while using current versions of RODEONmodular. To resolve such problems, we recommend the installation of the following patch:

Installation Instructions
Execute the downloaded self-extracting program file within a choosen directory on your PC. (The file will extract itself instantly into the same directory.)
Choose the sub-directory apropriate to your operating system. (For Windows Mobile you'll have to copy the complete content of the sub-directory onto your PDA first.)
Execute the file "Packetrate.exe" and confirm the installation.

The downloaded file, as well as all extracted or copied folders can be deleted after installation.
